About the Cadillac CT5
The 2026 Cadillac CT5 comes with several updates and changes compared to the updated 2025 Cadillac CT5, Cadillac CT5-V, and 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing.
For the 2026 model year, the CT5-V Blackwing gets more standard features and the CT5-V gets a grille change.

However, this paint color is no longer available to order.
The CT5 continues to be equipped as standard with a 2.0L I4 LSY turbocharged gasoline engine, which produces 237 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 258 pound-feet of torque at 1,500 rpm. More power is available with the twin-turbocharged LGY 3.0L V6 gasoline engine, which produces 335 horsepower at 5,400 rpm and 405 pound-feet of torque at 2,350 rpm, which is optional on the Premium Luxury trim – but the LGY engine is no longer available to order with this trim. A GM 10-speed automatic transmission handles gear swapping.
Rear-wheel drive (RWD) is standard, while all-wheel drive (AWD) is optional on all variants except the CT5-V Blackwing.
Meanwhile, the CT5-V is equipped with a twin-turbo 3.0L V6 LGY engine that produces 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque, combined with a 10-speed automatic and RWD or AWD. The CT5-V Blackwing is still powered by a supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine, which produces 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, and a 10-speed automatic is optional – both drive the rear wheels only.

2026 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Curated By Cadillac Programs
The current manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for the 2026 Cadillac CT5 ranges from $50,995 to $100,695. This includes a destination delivery charge (DFC) of $1,795. Here are prices with options and packages for the CT5 and CT5-V.
The online configurator tool is live for the 2026 CT5 and active for the 2026 CT5-V and 2026 CT5-V Blackwing.
The new Curated By Cadillac program is launching for the 2026 CT5-V Blackwing with 160 colors, a special program that has been envisioned for a long time, with the CT5-V Blackwing chosen first for a reason. Each Blackwing Curated By Cadillac CT5-V will be handcrafted in the GM Artisan Innovation Center on the GM Tech Center campus in Warren, Michigan.
This follows last year’s announcement of the CT5-V Blackwing 20th The Anniversary Edition, which is a very exclusive handcrafted finish model – limited production to just 21 units offering 20 unique hand-applied paint colors.
Recently, the luxury brand has expanded its lineup of limited-run performance sedans with the introduction of the 2026 CT5-V Blackwing Deep Ocean Package, a follow-up to the launch of its Curated by Cadillac program. Only 200 units with this package will be available. Look at this first picture.
GM has confirmed that the next-generation Cadillac CT5 is headed to the US market with an internal combustion engine, likely in 2027. The car will use an updated version of the GM Alpha 2 platform that powers the current CT5 and will still be built at GM’s Lansing Grand River plant. Meanwhile, production of the 2026 Cadillac CT5 and CT5-V will continue until the end of the 2026 calendar year.
