About the Cadillac Lyriq

The 2026 Cadillac Lyriq arrives introducing trim level name changes and sound system upgrades, among other minor changes and updates, including new paint colors. It also adds a new head-up display with features like those found on the 2026 Lyriq-V. Notably, the 2026 Lyriq and Lyriq-V continue to use Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Previously, the Lyriq trim levels consisted of Luxury 1, Luxury 2, Luxury 3, Sport 1, Sport 2, and Sport 3. The new 2026 Lyriq trims are now Luxury, Premium Luxury, Signature Luxury, Sport, Premium Sport, and Signature Sport. In other words, “Premium” is the new “2,” and “Signature” is the new “3.” Trim content will be largely unchanged, and these are essentially just new names for existing trim levels.

The Lyriq 2026 also offers an enhanced audio experience thanks to an upgraded AKG Studio sound system.

The Lyriq’s powertrain options and ratings are unchanged for the 2026 model year, with a single rear-wheel-drive (RWD) motor producing a GM-estimated 365 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. Meanwhile, the dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) system produces 515 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. The 2026 Lyriq can tow up to 3,500 pounds.

The 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V arrives as a new high-performance variant of the all-electric luxury crossover featuring a dual-motor powertrain energized by a 102 kWh lithium-ion battery pack to produce approximately 615 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. It catapults the Cadillac Lyriq-V from 0 to 60 mph in an estimated 3.3 seconds with Velocity Max mode engaged, making it 0.1 second quicker than the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, while the Lyriq-V’s soundtrack is inspired by the CT5-V Blackwing and V-Series.R.

Interestingly, the upcoming Chevy Blazer EV SS and Cadillac Lyriq-V have the same output.

The 2026 Lyriq-V adds back the minor beauty cover.

The 2026 Lyriq-V is available in two trim levels, namely Lyriq-V and Lyriq-V Premium. The new variant doesn’t get these two paint colors, but is offered with a carbon fiber splitter as part of the Exterior Carbon Fiber Package, and features an all-new steering wheel. The 2026 Lyriq-V also offers Blue, Bronze, and Red Accent Packages.

The current manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for the 2026 Cadillac Lyriq ranges from $60,995 to $85,590. This includes a destination delivery charge (DFC) of $1,795. Here are the prices with options and plans.

The 2026 Cadillac Lyriq gets an increase in US and Canadian parts content to 43 percent, up from 12 percent. Production of the 2027 Cadillac Lyriq is tentatively scheduled for July 13^th2026, at the GM Spring Hill Plant in Tennessee.
