Currently, the Cadillac In fact, we’re willing to bet more than a few of you out there would love to see this nameplate return. Now, a new set of AI-generated renderings give us a look at what the revival could look like, featuring a modern Cadillac XLR-V.

At first glance, the proportions of this AI-generated image have a clear lineage to the original XLR. The long hood, short rear deck and two-door coupe-like profile remain largely intact. However, the front end has been completely reworked, and now features styling inspired by the third-generation Cadillac CTS-V (2014 to 2019 model years).
An aggressive mesh grille, angular headlights and vertical LED lighting elements give the car a more modern, performance-focused look. The large bonnet vent sits prominently in the center, reinforcing the high-performance impression while adding visual drama to the clean body lines.

On the side, the render maintains the typical XLR shape but enhances it with a more planted position. The car looks much lower, with large multi-spoke wheels filling the arches. Wider fender flares stretch outward, giving the vehicle a wider track and more muscular appearance. The rear window also appears slightly smaller than it is, tightening the greenhouse for a sleeker, more aggressive profile.
On the back, the design remains relatively the same but gets subtle updates. The vertical taillights echo Cadillac’s traditional design, but the more prominent rear diffuser houses a quad exhaust setup.

While the render borrows some updated design elements, it doesn’t really align with the brand’s latest design direction. However, in our opinion the overall execution still looks quite good, and could be said to be even Again aggressive than today’s Cadillac language.
Originally launched for the 2004 model year, the Cadillac XLR was a luxury roadster built on the same platform as the C6 Corvette, with a rear-wheel-drive layout and grand-tourer looks. The high-performance XLR-V variant arrived later, equipped with a supercharged Northstar LC3 V8 and producing 443 horsepower.
