OK, you caught us. We’re using images of the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing in Infrared Tintcoat finish instead of the Radiant Red Tintcoat color, which replaces it for the 2023 model year and is still available to order over the next two weeks. If you’re not too fussy about what colors and options your CT4 has, including its powertrain and drivetrain configuration, then this issue is certainly not that pressing. As of this writing, a search of Cadillac inventory shows 1,370 Cadillac CT4 units on dealer lots, including 350 2025 models and 1,020 2026 units.

As a reminder for those who may not be familiar, the Cadillac CT4 sedan is available with three different engines, including a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder for the base CT4, a 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder (in two different outputs) for the Premium Luxury 500T and CT4-V, and a 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 for the top-end CT4-V Blackwing. Notably, a manual transmission is only available for the Blackwing model.

If you are not in a position to buy, don’t worry. The second-generation CT5 may appease buyers who like high-performance Cadillac sedans.
