There he was, daydreaming about the idea of customizing his own Curated by Cadillac 2026 CT5-V Blackwing. With as many as 160 hand-painted exterior color options, your mind will race to imagine a custom-made Blackwing like no other. Then you remember the starting price of $158,000, and snap back to reality. But at that time, the newly announced Deep Ocean Package ignited passions.
At $26,995, it’s easier to imagine yourself taking delivery of a beautiful blue Blackwing. And with production limited to just 200 units, you try to rationalize your lust, telling yourself that it’s a collector’s car, and thus a reasonable expense, because it’s clearly an investment. You then start calculating the cost of each feature and package: $8,090 for high-performance semi-aniline leather seats with carbon fiber backs, $5,750 for Carbon Fiber Package 1, $8,630 for Carbon Fiber Package 2, plus Satin Graphite wheels, blue brake calipers, Santorini Blue seat belts, and exterior black accents. “After all, this is no more than I specified,” you say to yourself.

Or maybe that’s not you. Maybe you’re someone who couldn’t get an allotment on the previously available limited edition Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing model, and this new Deep Ocean Package is your next option. If so, why not shoot for the moon and pair it with the Precision Package?
Of course, it may not have as rich a background as the Le Monstre Edition, but it will feature a paint color that is exclusive to one other model: the 2026 Cadillac Optiq-V. Note that currently, there are no photos of the CT5-V Blackwing with the Deep Ocean Package available.

In fact, you’d be lucky to own a CT5-V Blackwing in any color, especially if it has three pedals. But the added exclusivity and finer details of the Deep Sea Package will make it much more spectacular. So go ahead, live boldly, “very boldly”, and buy shiny cars. Although a second-generation CT5 is on the way, we have to wonder if it will offer a supercharged V8 engine and manual transmission.
