Cadillac Lyriq-V Preview Tour Announced In Japan

Three weeks after the local introduction of the Cadillac Lyriq-V in right-hand drive configuration in Japan, General Motors has just announced a preview tour for the high-performance electric crossover.

The automaker’s flagship luxury brand officially announced the start of a tour featuring the new right-hand-drive Cadillac Lyriq-V in Asian markets. Cadillac is dubbing the tour “Unleash The V Power,” which will be rolled out in stages through its Japanese dealer network. The tour will start in April in Tokyo’s Shinagawa district and will run through June, with the final stop in Sendai.

General Motors Japan will host a preview tour, ‘Unleash The V Power,’ at authorized Cadillac dealers nationwide starting Saturday, April 18th through Sunday, June 14th2026, where visitors can be the first to experience the appeal of the Cadillac Lyriq-V,” said Cadillac Japan. “Cadillac’s first all-electric high-performance SUV made its domestic debut on March 25th2026,” added the brand.

Specifically, the Cadillac Lyriq-V preview tour for the Japanese market will take place over the next nine weekends at official Cadillac dealers in 10 major cities of the country. Cadillac’s “Unleash The V Power” event will offer a hands-on experience of the Lyriq-V, including customizable static displays and test drive opportunities by appointment.

In fact, the tour schedule coincides with and complements the active pre-order period for the Cadillac Lyriq-V in Japan, which the brand kicked off on March 25.thon the same day as the local launch, and runs through June 21st. Therefore, regional marketing initiatives are designed to increase consumer awareness by bringing the high-performance Lyriq-V to nearby dealers.

The new RHD Cadillac Lyriq-V is available for pre-order through the brand’s official dealer network in Japan, and is being offered at launch until June 21stwith first deliveries expected in early 2027. The Lyriq-V will only be sold via special order in the Japanese market, with units imported from GM’s Spring Hill plant in Tennessee. The price is 18,900,000 yen, or about $118,700 USD at current exchange rates.
