2026 Chevy Colorado Stars & Steel Edition: Photos, Pricing

Late last year, GM announced the launch of a new Stars & Steel Collection for the 2026 model year, commemorating its 250th anniversary.th commemoration of the Declaration of Independence with increased patriotic styling on most Chevrolet nameplates. Of course, the collection includes a special edition version of the 2026 Chevy Colorado, which is based on the rugged Trail Boss trim. Now, GM Authority take a closer look with the following photos, as well as highlighting pricing for the new plans.

2026 Chevy Colorado Star & Steel Edition.

The price for the 2026 Chevy Colorado Stars & Steel Special Edition package is set at $13,455. However, buyers must add two additional accessories to unlock it, specifically an accessory switch kit (RPO code VZJ, $475), and an accessory power distribution box (RPO code VBP, $715). For reference, base prices for the 2026 Chevy Colorado Trail Boss start at $42,595, putting the well-equipped special edition in the mid-$50,000 range before any additional options.

Like the standard Trail Boss, this special edition model is equipped with all-wheel drive as standard, as well as a 2.7L I4 L3B turbocharged gasoline engine, rated at 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque, paired with a GM eight-speed automatic transmission.

Content-wise, the Stars & Steel Special Edition combines several existing options with unique visual upgrades, starting with the Convenience Package II (RPO code PCW) and Technology Package (RPO code CWM) that add comfort, driver assistance and improved infotainment. A Midnight Edition (code RPO WJP) is also part of the package, characterized by a distinctive display panel featuring a laser-engraved “1776 USA Flag 2026” design.

Functional upgrades include a spray-on bedliner (RPO code CGN) and Skid Plate Package (RPO code PCQ), increasing durability for off-road use.

Additional features complement form and function, with exclusive Stars & Steel Special Edition graphics (RPO code SHT), all-weather floor covering (RPO code RIA), and rocker panel protectors (RPO code S6L). Red recovery hooks (RPO code ULK) emphasize off-road readiness, while the Premier soft roll-up tonneau cover improves cargo management (RPO code VPB). Finishing touches include black Chevrolet Performance exhaust tips (code RPO VTA).

Buyers can choose between Summit White and Black for exterior colors.

Underneath the body panels, you’ll find the updated GMT31XX platform, while production of the vehicle takes place at GM’s Wentzville Assembly plant in Missouri.
