The full-size Chevy Tahoe and Chevy Suburban SUVs were refreshed for the 2025 model year, with the new 2026 Chevy Tahoe and 2026 Suburban also introducing some notable changes. Highlights include a new styling package, a new key card feature, and new wheel options, as discussed previously. Interestingly, the 2026 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban also offer a new Adventure Package that adds some interesting cargo solutions to the mix.

These new package options are called Adventure Package 1 (RPO code RGN) and Adventure Package 2 (RPO code RGD), and they have nearly the same content, with the main difference being the type of roof-mounted storage included. The Adventure Package 1 features a roof-mounted basket with a basket net, while the Adventure Package 2 swaps the basket for a roof-mounted cargo box. This roof storage feature is the only truly “new” item for the Chevy Tahoe and Suburban, as the rest of the package consists of items previously offered, but now combined into one. New package photos are not currently available.
A full list of package contents can be found below (relevant RPO codes are listed in brackets):
Adventure Pack 1 (RGN) includes:
- Roof-mounted basket with basket net
- Convenience Package (Y55)
- Second row power bucket seats (ATN).
- Max Trailer Package (NHT)
- All Weather Liner Protection Package (RGJ)
- Black front bow tie emblem (R88)
- Black roof rack cross rails (VQQ)
Adventure Pack 2 (RGD) includes:
- Roof mounted cargo box
- Convenience Package (Y55)
- Second row power bucket seats (ATN).
- Max Trailer Package (NHT)
- All Weather Liner Protection Package (RGJ)
- Black front bow tie emblem (R88)
- Black roof rack cross rails (VQQ)
As for availability, both packages are offered for the 2026 Chevy Tahoe and 2026 Suburban LT, RST, and Z71 trims, but not the LS, Premier, or High Country.
The package is also not available in combination with several other optional upgrades for the 2026 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban, including the Sun and Tow Package (RPO code PCU), Dark Essentials (RPO code PDB), Dark Essential Plus Package (RPO code PDC), Hit The Road Package (RPO code RFO), and Interior Protection Package (RPO code RGH). Of course, the new Adventure package is also mutually exclusive, meaning buyers have to choose between a basket or cargo box configuration.

While official pricing hasn’t been released, the content listed for both packs provides some clues. The Convenience Package itself ranges from $2,215 to $2,260, while the Max Trailering Package costs between $415 and $590. Additional features like the illuminated bow tie emblem ($595), liner protection package ($595), second-row bucket seats ($370), and roof rack cross rails (about $725) quickly add to the total. A roof-mounted cargo basket or box (likely sourced from a supplier like Thule) can add a few hundred to over a thousand dollars, depending on the configuration. As a result, the total price for the Adventure Package will likely be in the several thousand dollar range.
As a reminder, the 2026 Chevy Tahoe and 2026 Suburban use the GM T1 platform and are manufactured at GM’s Arlington plant in Texas.
