2026 Chevy Silverado HD Stars & Steel: Photos And Pricing

General Motors expands its 2026 model year offerings with the new Stars & Steel Collection, commemorating 250 yearsth commemorating the United States anniversary with a series of aesthetic upgrades for several Chevy nameplates, including the 2026 Chevy Silverado HD. Available exclusively on the LTZ Silverado HD trim level, this package combines visual enhancements with off-road capability, trailering-focused upgrades and other premium equipment. Now, GM Authority is taking a closer look at what’s on offer, including pricing.

Applied to the 2026 Chevy Silverado HD, the Stars & Steel Special Edition (code RPO USA) commands a significant premium due to the bundled content and required options. When added to a Silverado 2500 HD, this package is priced at $13,145, while the Duramax turbodiesel 6.6L V8 L5P engine adds $9,990, bringing the total to $23,135.

Applied to the Silverado 3500 HD, the package is slightly cheaper at $12,195, although the same $9,990 Duramax engine requirement brings the total to $22,185.

As for content, Stars & Steel Special Edition combines various features into one package. Exterior enhancements begin with the Stars and Steel Special Edition (code RPO SHT) graphics, which introduce unique patriotic-themed styling elements. The packages also include the Trail Boss Package (RPO code WPK) and Off-Road Package (RPO code Z71), as well as the LTZ II Convenience Package (RPO code PCN) and LTZ Plus Package (RPO code PDF), which combine off-road capability with additional convenience, technology and driver assistance features.

Functional upgrades include Off-Road High Clearance Steps (RPO code VXW) and power sunroof (RPO code CF5), plus Max Trailering Package (RPO code NHT) and Gooseneck/5th Wheel Preparation Package (RPO code ZA6).

Finishing touches include a soft-rolling truck bed cover (RPO code VPB), all-weather floor liner (RPO code AAK), and black wheel nuts and wheel lock kit (RPO code SPZ).

The Stars & Steel Special Edition is offered exclusively on the LTZ trim level when applied to the Chevy Silverado HD, and only in the Crew Cab/Standard Bed body configuration with a single rear wheel setup. It also calls for a standard tailgate (RPO code QK1), and a Jet Black interior (color code H1Y). Buyers will also have to choose between two exterior paint colors: Summit White (color code GAZ) or Black (color code GBA).

Finally, it’s worth noting that the Stars & Steel Special Edition is not the same as the more affordable (and lower content) Stars & Steel Appearance Pack.
