Along with the world debut of the new 2027 Chevy Sonic crossover in Brazil, General Motors has launched an advertising campaign for the Chevrolet utility vehicle in South America.

The marketing team of the automaker’s South American subsidiary launched a new advertising campaign for the 2027 Chevy Sonic crossover in Brazil and simultaneously in several other countries in the region – including Argentina, Colombia, Uruguay and Paraguay. Sonic 2027 arrives in South America supported by a communication strategy that strengthens the product’s positioning and highlights its main attribute, namely the “coupe-like” design.

“GM chose Brazil as the site of the world premiere of the Chevrolet Sonic, reinforcing the model’s relevance as the brand’s flagship launch in South America this year,” GM South America said. “This project introduces a new SUV coupe concept to the compact car segment, combining advanced vehicle dynamics, a strong visual presence and a level of detail previously only seen in higher category vehicles,” the company added.

Specifically, the advertising campaign for the new 2027 Chevy Sonic crossover in Brazil and other confirmed regional markets was introduced with an official trailer that included a slogan in Portuguese and Spanish, which loosely translates to “It won’t leave your head.” The phrase was inspired by the lyrics of Kylie Minogue’s hit song “Can’t Get You Out of My Head,” which is featured in the commercial as its soundtrack.

Additionally, an advertising campaign for the 2027 Chevy Sonic crossover is launching across Chevrolet’s website and social media channels in these countries as part of the model’s official marketing launch. As indicated by the Sonic crossover seen during the commercial shoot, the campaign focuses on the 2027 Sonic crossover in sporty RS trim, painted in a new gray body color for the brand’s portfolio.
The all-new 2027 Chevy Sonic crossover has just been officially unveiled and will launch in Brazil in the first half of May, when it will start arriving at dealers as a new entry-level utility vehicle for the region. With the launch of its new advertising campaign, the manufacturer aims to position the Sonic 2027 as a more stylish option compared to its competitors in order to attract a younger customer profile to its company portfolio.
