A new collection celebrating the legendary GMC Syclone is up for grabs, with Hot Wheels teaming up with Kroger to offer a special edition die-cast model.

This promotion brings back one of the most iconic performance trucks of the early 1990s, this time in 1:64 scale form.

Fans can get their hands on a new Collector’s Edition 1991 GMC Syclone by purchasing $20 or more worth of qualifying Hot Wheels products at participating Kroger locations between April 20th and June 2And2026. After making a purchase, customers must submit a receipt along with the back of the card (and not the scuff or car packaging) to redeem the exclusive model.

To further entice enthusiasts, the campaign also includes exclusive color versions of several popular Hot Wheels models, all of which are only available through Kroger stores. These include a 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 2016 Lamborghini Centenario Roadster, 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, and Rodger Dodger, each finished in a unique color theme tied to a specific Hot Wheels series.

As for the die-cast GMC Syclone on offer, this model features a black exterior with bold, retro-inspired Hot Wheels graphics along the sides, combining teal and magenta accents reminiscent of the classic 1990s style. Prominent “Hot Wheels” branding spans the doors and bed, while a “1” graphic appears on the rear panel.

Additional visual details include white five-spoke wheels, a low-slung stance, and a clean, tonneau-lined bed. The front fascia carries a red GMC badge, staying true to the original truck’s identity, while subtle molded elements mimic the proportions of the Syclone compact pickup.

Originally introduced for the 1991 model year, the GMC Syclone earned a reputation as one of the fastest production vehicles of its time. Powered by a 4.3L turbocharged V6 engine and equipped with all-wheel drive, this high-performance pickup delivers sports car-like acceleration, sprinting from 0 to 60 mph in the mid-four second range.
