After presenting GMC’s new premium brand strategy for Indonesia, General Motors has just launched the 2026 GMC Sierra Scarlet Night Edition in South Korea.
The automaker’s South Korean subsidiary released the new 2026 GMC Sierra Scarlet Night Edition, officially introducing a special version of GMC’s full-size pickup truck as an exclusive edition for the country. In particular, the top-of-the-line 2026 Sierra Scarlet Night Edition includes unique design details and features.
“General Motors’ premium SUV and pickup brand, GMC, is introducing a new ‘Scarlet Night Edition,’ which emphasizes the brand’s identity, along with the launch of the 2026 Sierra Denali,” GM Korea said. “The Scarlet Night Edition focuses on expressing the brand identity more intuitively by distinguishing exterior details while maintaining the subtlety of the existing Denali trim,” the company added.
The new 2026 GMC Sierra Scarlet Night Edition launched in South Korea is based on the Denali truck’s standard trim level, but is positioned as a new top-of-the-line variant. It features a red GMC logo, logo-projected courtesy lights, fender flares, rear door step lights, and front door sills, in one exclusive package.
The 2026 GMC Sierra Scarlet Night Edition’s powertrain is the same as the existing truck, consisting of a naturally aspirated 6.2L L87 V8 engine producing 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, mated to a GM ten-speed automatic transmission. It also retains the standard four-wheel drivetrain and Crew Cab Short Bed configuration, the only one offered in Korea.
The new 2026 GMC Sierra Scarlet Night Edition is now available for sale across GM Korea’s Premium Channel dealer network in Asia, where the truck brand is offered in a dedicated area within Cadillac dealerships. The 2026 Sierra Scarlet Night Edition will be introduced to the public for the first time at a special weekend event. Pricing for the 2026 Sierra lineup is as follows:
- 2026 Sierra Denali: 94,200,000 won (approximately $64,350 USD at current exchange rates)
- 2026 Sierra Denali Scarlet Evening Edition: 96,200,000 won ($65,750 USD)
