About Cadillac Optiq
The 2026 Cadillac Optiq arrives as the second year of the new all-electric 2025 Cadillac Optiq, the luxury brand’s entry-level electric vehicle. The 2026 model gets output changes and the addition of rear-wheel drive, plus new paint colors and genuine NACS charging ports across the lineup, making the Optiq the first GM EV to receive it.
For 2026, the Optiq introduces a cadence of new trim levels, although still four as before. The Luxury 1 trim level becomes Luxury while Sport 1 becomes Sport. The Luxury 2 was renamed Premium Luxury and the Sport 2 is now known as Premium Sport. This designation change follows those applied to the 2026 Cadillac Lyriq and 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQ.
The 2026 model year also introduces the 2026 Cadillac Optiq-V high-performance variant as the luxury brand’s first V Series subcompact crossover. It offers two performance packages and gets two exclusive paint colors while offering two interior colors.
Here are all the 2026 Optiqs:
The 2026 Cadillac Optiq-V Magnus Launch Edition is here, bringing some custom styling.
More power and performance is available for the 2026 model year. The new dual-motor, all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup now produces 440 horsepower and 498 pound-feet of torque, up from the 2025 Optiq’s ratings of 300 horsepower and 354 pound-feet. Meanwhile, the rear-wheel-drive (RWD) Optiq unit gets a single electric motor that produces 315 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque.
As a result of these powertrain changes in 2026, the Optiq receives a new output badge. Additionally, the Optiq gets increased driving range, and can tow up to 1,500 pounds.
As for the Optiq-V, it offers 519 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. The 85 kWh battery remains, while range per charge is currently estimated by GM at up to 278 miles.
Notably, the 2026 Cadillac Optiq-V gets handling features that the Optiq AWD lacks, specifically torque vectoring.
The current manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for the 2026 Cadillac Optiq ranges from $52,695 to $69,095. This includes a destination delivery charge (DFC) of $1,795. Here are the prices with options and plans.
