Although GM hasn’t officially unveiled one of its next-generation pickups, GM Authority has diligently presented anything and everything there is to know so far. As a quick refresher, the 2027 Silverado 1500 and 2027 Sierra 1500 will mark the next major evolution of GM’s full-size bread-and-butter trucks, and will ride on an updated version of GM’s T1 platform, known internally as the T1-2. While the basic platform will remain body-on-frame, enhancements are expected to support improved ride quality, towing capability and efficiency.
