About the Cadillac Escalade IQ
The 2026 Escalade IQ offers several changes over the first all-electric 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ. It includes a revised range of trim levels, with Luxury 2 becoming Luxury Premium and Sport 2 becoming Sport Premium.
Standard features include a 55-inch curved pillar-to-pillar infotainment display, a 21-speaker stereo, system, Air Ride Adaptive Suspension with Magnetic Ride Control, and GM’s Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assistance system, while the Premium Luxury and Premium Sport trims include a 38-speaker stereo, Night Vision thermal imaging, and 16-way power front seats, along with the available Executive Second-Row Seating Package.
The 2026 model now offers these cool new features, especially the console refrigerator.
However, availability of the Smart Trailer Package will decrease with the new trim level changes.
The 2026 Escalade IQ gets a bunch of new paint colors, although these paint colors have never been produced before, namely Adobe Frost, an exclusive and highly rated matte finish.
The battery-powered full-size luxury SUV also offers new standard wheels for 2026, and is now available with these two new wheel options.
Here are all the 2026 Escalade IQ:
All-wheel drive (AWD) is standard, powered by the GM BT1 platform, motivated by GM battery technology and a GM drive motor. GM’s estimated range is 460 miles available on a full charge, while the dual motors, powered by a 24-module, 205 kWh battery, deliver up to 750 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque. This gets the SUV from a standstill to 60 mph in just 4.7 seconds, while providing up to 8,000 pounds of towing capability. Additionally, 800-volt DC fast charging capability adds up to 100 miles of range in just 10 minutes, and two-way vehicle-to-home (V2H) charging is also available.
The battery-electric SUV uses a fully independent suspension with Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 and Adaptive Air Ride suspension, allowing the body to be lowered by two inches and raised by one inch. There’s also standard four-wheel steering, which allows for a low turning diameter of 39.4 feet, and Cadillac Arrival Mode, which allows diagonal drive functionality at low speeds.
An infotainment system feature available on the Cadillac EV is called Conversation Enhancement for three-row utilities like the Escalade IQ/IQL.

The 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQL arrives as an extended variant of the luxury brand’s flagship battery electric utility, offering a roomier third row and extra rear storage. More specifically, the IQL’s third-row seat offers an additional four inches of legroom over the Escalade IQ, primarily due to the IQL’s significantly longer overall length than the Escalade IQ, even though the two share the same wheelbase. Check out our design comparison and dimension comparison of our battery-electric full-size luxury SUV variants.
The 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQL is now GM’s largest SUV, although performance and powertrain specifications remain the same between the two models.
Additionally, the 2026 Escalade IQL offers many new paint colors and is now available with these two new wheel options.
