General Motors has just officially launched the 2027 Chevy Spin MPV with the latest lineup in Brazil, the country of origin of Chevrolet’s entry-level microvan.
The Bowtie brand announced the launch of the 2027 Chevy Spin in the Brazilian domestic market, where the MPV’s new model year launches an updated product lineup that adds an additional mid-range variant, strengthening the offering of the most affordable family vehicle in the South American country. Thus, the Spin becomes the brand’s first 2027 model year vehicle available on the Brazilian market.
“Inside the 2027 Chevrolet Spin, everything is designed for the family. This 5 or 7 seater car is ideal for transporting everyone comfortably and easily,” said Chevrolet Brazil. “In addition, the car features versatile cargo storage and smart connectivity anywhere. Best value for money for those looking for a car that can fulfill their routine without compromising on safety and functionality,” the brand added.
The updated 2027 Chevy Spin lineup consists of five variants in the base, LT, LTZ, and Premier trim levels. In addition to features such as new wheel designs and trim details, the main novelty is the addition of a five-seat midrange variant in LTZ trim, designed for a more specific customer profile seeking ample cargo space with increased comfort and convenience content.
Additionally, the 2027 Chevy Spin now offers a more comprehensive list of accessories, allowing customers to personalize their vehicles with a variety of decorative and functional items to suit their tastes. Mechanically, the entire 2027 Spin lineup comes standard with a naturally aspirated 1.8L I4 engine producing 106 horsepower and 119 pound-feet of torque, paired with a five-speed manual (LT) or six-speed automatic transmission.
The updated 2027 Chevy Spin lineup is now available for sale at authorized Chevrolet dealers in Brazil, and is produced exclusively at GM’s São Caetano do Sul plant to supply the local market and other select South American countries. The new edition aims to maintain the model’s commercial leadership in the region with its signature formula of affordability, spacious interior and low running costs. - Spin Base AT 2027: 119,900 reales (approximately $23,800 USD at current exchange rates)
- Spin LT 2027: 138,590 reais ($27,500 USD)
- 2027 LTZ Spin: 153,990 rials ($30,600 USD)
- Spin Premier 2027: 165,590 reais ($32,900 USD)
