2027 Corvette Grand Sport Z52 Package: Details And Pricing

Posted on

The new 2027 Corvette Grand Sport slots above the C8 Corvette Stingray with a variety of performance upgrades, including suspension and brake upgrades. However, for buyers who want to go a step further, the new Corvette Grand Sport also offers two different Z52 performance packages, giving buyers a degree of flexibility depending on how they want to use the car. Now, GM Authority is taking a closer look at what’s on offer.

Let’s start with the Z52 Sport Performance Package (RPO code FEB), which is the more accessible option of the two. Selecting this package adds upgraded braking hardware with 6-piston performance brakes up front and 4-piston rears (RPO code J56), as well as a set of high-performance tires measuring 275/30ZR20 up front and 345/25ZR21 in the rear (RPO code XFR).

Priced at $3,500, this package seems well suited for vigorous street riding or occasional track use.

Meanwhile, for buyers looking for maximum performance, the Z52 Track Performance Package (RPO code FEY) expands the Sport package with a suite of go-fast features, adding carbon ceramic brakes (RPO code J57) and Dark Gray Metallic painted calipers (RPO code J6D). Tire performance is also enhanced with ultra-performance Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R rubber, again sized 275/30ZR20 front and 345/25ZR21 rear (RPO code XFS).

Additional enhancements include a quad center exhaust exhaust (RPO code WUB), plus a Carbon Flash painted Carbon Fiber Aero Package (RPO code T0F) and matching carbon fiber ground effects (RPO code CFZ). Put it all together, and the new Track package is priced at $20,695.

Both Z52 packages are available on all 2027 Corvette Grand Sport trim levels, including 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT, and can be paired with either the Coupe or Convertible body styles. Notably, some features from the Track package can be added individually to the Sport package – for example, the quad center exit exhaust (RPO code WUB) is available as a standalone option for $1,995, while buyers can also upgrade to carbon ceramic brakes (RPO code J57) and Dark Gray calipers (RPO code J6D) for an additional $6,000. The carbon fiber aero (RPO code T0F) and ground effects (RPO code CFZ) packages are offered for $8,995.

However, with the individual upgrades combined with the Z52 Sport Performance Package, the total cost could reach $20,490, just shy of the full Z52 Track Performance Package. At that point, the only remaining difference was the more aggressive specification of the Michelin Cup 2 R tires.

As a reminder, the 2027 Corvette Grand Sport is powered by a 6.7L V8 LS6 naturally aspirated gasoline engine, while the GM Y2 platform underpins it. Production takes place at GM’s Bowling Green plant in Kentucky.
