About the Chevrolet Silverado HD
The 2026 Chevy Silverado HD debuts with only minor changes compared to the 2025 model, once again offering impressive capability and many different configurations. It eliminates this configuration, but offers two new paint colors, and the ZR2 gets more standard features. Now’s your chance to order a ZR2 Bison in Tangier Orange as a very limited special order upgrade.

Notably, this once prominent Chevy trim level only exists in one model line – the LTZ trim, available on the Chevy Silverado 1500 and Silverado HD.
The Silverado HD now offers this bed access feature again.
Standard power comes from a naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine producing 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque, while the optional Duramax 6.6L V8 L5P turbodiesel produces 470 horsepower and 975 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are connected to GM’s 10-speed automatic transmission branded as an Allison transmission. The Silverado HD can tow up to 36,000 pounds.
The current manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for the 2026 Chevy Silverado HD ranges from $48,695 to $77,695. This includes a destination delivery charge (DFC) of $2,795.
