About the Buick Encore GX
The 2026 Buick Encore GX debuts the seventh model year of the first-generation subcompact premium crossover, introducing several minor updates and changes compared to the previous year, including the removal of the standard spare tire and the addition of a new Studio Series package. This is the first look.

Powerplant options for the 2026 model year continue to include the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LBP engine, which supports E85 fuel compatibility, as standard. It develops 137 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 162 pound-feet of torque at 2,500 to 4,000 rpm. A turbocharged 1.3L I3 L3T engine is optional, producing 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque, but it does not support E85 fuel. However, currently the LBP machine is not available to order.
The 2026 Encore GX can tow up to 1,000 pounds.
The current manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for the 2026 Buick Encore GX ranges from $27,995 to $33,495. This includes a destination delivery charge (DFC) of $1,795. Here are the prices with options and plans.
