See All 3 Wheel Choices

The 2026 Chevy Express has remained more or less unchanged for more than three decades, once again entering the 2026 model year carrying over the familiar full-size van formula. Offered in cargo, passenger, and cutaway configurations, the Express remains focused on durability and utility above all else. However, buyers still have little choice in terms of appearance and equipment. Now, GM Authority is taking a closer look at all the 2026 Chevy Express wheel options.

As it turns out, the 2026 Chevy Express offers a total of three wheel finishes and configurations, although availability depends on body style and rear wheel setup. Standard wheels for most variants are 16-inch Gray painted steel wheels in a single rear wheel configuration (RPO code QB5), which are fitted as standard on the Cargo, Cutaway, Passenger LS and Passenger LT models.

For cutaway models equipped with dual rear wheels, Chevy offers separate 16-inch Gray painted steel wheels in a dual rear wheel configuration (RPO code QT4), reflecting the more heavy-duty requirements of that variant. Finally, customers shopping for the 2026 Chevy Express can also opt for 16-inch white-painted steel wheels in a single rear wheel configuration (RPO code 40P), which are available as an optional upgrade on the Cargo, Cutaway, Passenger LS, and Passenger LT trims for just $25.

Of course, when it comes to commercial buyers and fleets in particular, this approach makes a lot of sense, especially considering the wide variety of upfit applications and fleets that Express continues to serve.

As a reminder, the 2026 Chevy Express offers a pair of engine options, starting with a naturally aspirated 4.3L V6 LV1 gasoline engine that produces a total of 276 horsepower and 298 pound-feet of torque. Buyers can also upgrade to the 6.6L V8 L8T naturally aspirated gasoline engine, which produces 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque.

Production of the vehicle takes place at GM’s Wentzville Assembly Plant in Missouri, while the Cutaway variant of the Express is also produced through International in Ohio.
