Since the beginning of June 2022, BMW Motorrad India has been teasing the G 310 RR which is relentlessly logging in on its social media pages. It starts with a glimpse of the taillight cluster, followed by “RR: Family ready to grow. Stay tuned.” Next, it was an invitation to fans to guess what would happen, followed by a small garage door that was half raised, revealing just the bottom third of his new bike.

Next up, it’s some adrenaline-pumping race track footage, followed by the text “Reveal Your Racing Attitude, with the two “R” words stacked neatly on top of each other and both “Rs” written in red (while the rest of the text is white). ).Where some OEMs might do some teasers, really, BMW is ready to G 310 RR keep coming—until finally, semi-revealed.

Orders for your new BMW G 310 RR opened a few days ago, and we’ll be putting that link in our Resources if you’re reading this in India right now. The full purchase price hasn’t been listed yet, but BMW’s teaser mentions that the expected monthly payment is 3,999 rupees per month, which makes for around $51.20 in conversions on June 21, 2022.

Full details are not yet available for the G 310 RR, though ardent fans of course have asked for it. It will have same machine as another G 310s given, but we don’t know how it will be set yet. One thing we know, thanks to the latest teaser, is that it will have a nice little 5-inch TFT display up front. We also know that style does come from its bigger and worse sibling, the S 1000 RR—as many would have hoped.

Incidentally, BMW Motorrad India also recently announced the opening of the new G 310 R Driving Academy, which is also open for orders. Is it possible to take your new G 310 RR to the Academy (or maybe borrow one, depending on how it’s set up) too? Hopefully, those answers will be available soon, but it’s an interesting time to note.

Once the bike is officially launched and we know more details, we will definitely share it here. It is expected to occur on July 15, 2022 in India, and it is not yet clear if or when it will appear elsewhere in the world. However, since the other G 310 has been quite popular around the world, we wouldn’t be at all surprised if and when it starts showing up in other markets as well. Here’s hoping!
