About Chevrolet BrightDrop
The 2026 Chevy BrightDrop introduces several important updates and changes. It finally added this audio feature for the new model year, but removed the black door option, and this roof option was no longer available.
Additionally, as previously reported, the 2026 BrightDrop lineup gets a new extended range battery pack, a 16-module pack that provides up to 204 miles of range, slotting between the 14-module Standard Range pack with 176 miles of range and the Max Range 20-module pack with 285 miles of range.
Motor performance continues as before, with the BrightDrop 400 and 600 units equipped with front-wheel drive (FWD) incorporating a single-motor powertrain setup that produces 233 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque. Meanwhile, the Chevy BrightDrop variant which is equipped with a dual motor all-wheel drive (AWD) system is capable of producing up to 300 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque.
The current manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for the 2026 Chevy BrightDrop ranges from $64,600 to $68,700. This includes a destination delivery charge (DFC) of $3,325.
GM has finished production of the Chevy BrightDrop, ending its lineup of battery-electric delivery vans.
