Lifted Chevy Silverado HD Turns Lambo Into Speed Bump: Video

Posted on

A new viral video shot in a Florida parking lot shows a lifted Chevy Silverado HD doing its best monster truck impression atop a Lamborghini Huracán, creating what can only be described as a very expensive Italian-American vehicle sandwich.

Looking at the footage, one of the new clips, apparently taken with a side-by-side dash cam, shows the Huracán slowly moving backwards, presumably as the driver watches the big pickup approach. Enter stage left: a towering Silverado HD riding an aftermarket lift. Without hesitation, the truck climbed onto the Lamborghini as if it were a mid-engine speed bump.

Chevy Silverado HD crushes Lamborghini.

It’s not hard to imagine what happens in the driver’s seat of a Chevy Silverado HD. With a sizable suspension lift and oversized tires, people in the cabin may be able to enjoy a fantastic view of the sky, but also have a huge blind spot right in front of them. Add in a speed that seems too high for a parking lot, and the result is an inadvertent demonstration of approach angle.

Another clip shows the impact of the incident, with the Silverado perched directly on top of the Huracán, apparently centered on the roof. Bystanders gathered, phoned in, captured the scene as the truck’s huge off-road tires sank into the Lamborghini’s bodywork.

Fortunately, the Lamborghini driver was not injured.

“Thank God for one more day and one more chance,” said the man inside the Lamborghini, via social media. “Materials are not a problem for me, my health is the main thing. Nothing can stop us, there is still a lot to develop.”

This is certainly a healthy attitude, considering the situation at hand. It’s true, when it comes to demonstrating the dangers of off-roader riding as an everyday activity, this one is hard to top. Literally.
