About the Chevrolet Traverse
The 2026 Chevy Traverse offers only minor changes over the 2025 model. Updates include the introduction of the Key Card feature, which allows users to lock, unlock, and start the vehicle with a card and without a traditional key fob. For 2026, Traverse also adds two new paint options and expands the availability of the Rear Camera Glass.

The 2.5L I4 LK0 turbocharged gasoline engine continues to be the only powertrain option, producing 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque. The 2026 Traverse gets fuel economy rating changes over the 2025 model, although they are very minor. The Traverse can tow up to 5,000 pounds.
The Traverse’s front wheels are driven by an eight-speed automatic transmission as standard. All-wheel drive is available as a “regular” system on all trim levels, while the Z71 trim level exclusively uses an “off-road capable” dual-clutch system.
