Chevrolet’s Ecuadorian subsidiary released the 2026 Chevy Tracker LTZ on the local market, marking the first time a fresh variant of the Brazilian-made Chevrolet subcompact crossover has been available. Ecuador becomes the third country in GM South America’s Pacific Cluster to receive the updated 2026 Tracker, following its arrival in Colombia and Chile.

“The new 2026 Tracker LTZ is the evolution of an SUV designed to keep up with everyday life, combining comfort, technology and safety,” said Chevrolet Product Manager at GM Ecuador, Juan Fernando Muñoz. “We are confident that thanks to its innovation, it will continue to be a benchmark in its segment and be a companion for thousands of Ecuadorian families,” he added.

The 2026 Chevy Tracker LTZ launched in Ecuador as the only model configuration available to customers in the country, unlike the more varied lineup offered in other markets. Thus, the 2026 LTZ Tracker trim level comes standard with the fullest set of features in its category in the Ecuadorian market, including technology and safety packages.

Mechanically, the 2026 Chevy Tracker LTZ coming to Ecuador is equipped with a 1.2L I3 turbocharged engine that produces 130 horsepower and 140 pound-feet of torque, exclusively paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. As always, the 2026 Tracker remains a front-wheel-drive model focused on urban driving and fuel efficiency.

The 2026 Chevy Tracker LTZ is now available for sale at authorized Chevrolet dealers in Ecuador, with units imported from GM’s São Caetano do Sul plant in Brazil – the primary manufacturing center for the model in the region and worldwide following the cessation of production in China. The 2026 Tracker is positioned in the Ecuadorian market as a “tech crossover”, positioned above the Chevy Groove and Captiva XL. The starting prices are as follows:

  • LTZ Tracker 2026: $28,990 USD (official currency of Ecuador)
