About the Chevy Tahoe
The 2026 Chevy Tahoe introduces several important updates and changes following the updated 2025 Chevy Tahoe.
New options for the 2026 Tahoe include a new RST Dark Essentials Package, a new Cabin Glance camera system, and a new Key Card feature. The RST Dark Essentials package adds more black exterior trim and 24-inch Black alloy wheels. Cabin Glance allows the driver to monitor rear-seat activity via the infotainment screen. And GM Key Card technology is a credit card-sized key that can lock, unlock, and start the SUV.
However, the Tahoe eliminates all of these dealer-installed options.

GM introduced the limited-edition 2026 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban LS Custom Edition, adding a series of dark-colored styling elements, which are now available to order.
The trio of powertrain offerings for the 2026 Tahoe remain unchanged over the 2025 model year. Starting with the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine as standard, producing 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, followed by the more powerful 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet. Lastly, there’s the LZ0’s 3.0L I6 Duramax turbodiesel, which makes 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque, although that engine is currently limited.
The current manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for the 2026 Tahoe ranges from $63,495 to $81,995. This includes a destination delivery charge (DFC) of $2,795.

2026 Tahoe and Suburban orders will close the week of June 13thth.
