Honda is recalling 65,135 crossovers due to several software defects. Affected vehicles may experience blank instrument and infotainment displays, leaving drivers unable to see speed, warning lights and back-up cameras.
The recall impacts the 2024 Honda Prologue and 2024 Acura ZDX. According to recall reportRadio Control Module (RCM) models may contain six independent software defects that can occur independently and cause processing errors resulting in screen restarts or failure altogether.
Honda first began investigating the issue in June 2024, but struggled to reproduce it. The automaker continued its investigation and received information in December 2025 indicating that there were six software defects related to the issue.

In February, the automaker determined that the defect failed to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and issued a recall. Honda will begin notifying affected customers in April, instructing owners to take their vehicles to designated service centers so technicians can update the RCM software.
Honda said it was not aware of any injuries or deaths related to this issue. Has received 148 warranty claims. The Honda Prologue and Acura ZDX are two electric vehicles built on General Motors’ Ultium battery platform.
