Production of the BMW Alpina XB7 is coming to an end. To celebrate, the automaker produced a special Manufacturing edition for the United States and Canada.

Under the hood is BMW’s 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged S68 V8 engine, paired with an eight-speed Alpina Switch-Tronic transmission featuring a 48-volt integrated motor. The XB7 produces 631 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque, which can propel the SUV to 60 miles per hour in 3.9 seconds.

Two new colors are available—Frozen Alpina Green and Frozen Alpina Blue. The SUV also features Shadowline gloss black exterior trim around the grille, windows, intake and exhaust pipes, as well as unique badging. Twenty-three-inch Alpina Classic 20-spoke forged wheels are standard.

Inside, the front headrests feature Alpina branding in green or blue, with the rest of the cabin finished in Tartufo Full Merino leather and Walnut Nature Black trim. Second-row captain’s chairs, a Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system and two brown Lavalina leather weekend bags are standard equipment.

Price & Availability

BMW will begin production of the 2026 XB7 Manufaktur in September, with deliveries starting in the fourth quarter. The SUV is priced from $181,550, including a $1,550 destination charge, double the entry-level X7’s starting price of $90,000.

BMW will build a limited run of SUVs at its plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Production of the Alpina X7 began at the factory in 2020, making it the first Alpina to be built outside the company’s workshops in Germany.

Motorcycle Pickup1: Now that Alpina is officially under BMW control, the German car manufacturer plans to elevate the Alpina brand to become a proper competitor to Mercedes-Maybach. That means we’ll likely see Alpina badges on future X7 variants.
