Pagani C10 teaser video leaves a lot of imagination

Italian hypercar manufacturer Pagani is only 30 years old, but already has a solid reputation for exotic performance. That it was done in such a short time is noteworthy; that it’s also done with just three long-lived vehicles is still more impressive. And now, following in the footsteps of Zonda and Huayra, the company is preparing a fourth product with the C10.

Scheduled to debut September 12, this is the official teaser after months of spy photos. Posted on Instagram, it shows Horacio Pagani himself sketching the car. We see the wheel arches here and the fenders there, and only the flash shows the “C10” badge, again confirming the car’s name. In the statement, Pagani (car manufacturer) said “will write a new chapter in our story, celebration and affirmation of the vision that has always been our inspiration.”

While the C10 is a “new chapter”, it’s definitely part of the same book as the very long-lived Zonda and the 10-year-old Huayra. Based on spy shots, the grandest departure is at the front, where there is a single headlight housing instead of two independent lights per side. A flatter nose, wider greenhouse and new fascia are more modest changes, while the leaf-like mirrors and flat sides are much closer to the Huayra. At the rear, twin vertical taillights flank a high-mounted, four-pointed exhaust near the integrated wing.

Pagani has confirmed the C10 will use a 6.0-liter V12 engine with twin turbochargers. Output is expected to be north of 800 horsepower, with power reaching the rear wheels via an automatic or dual-clutch transmission. According to Pagani, the emphasis is on saving weight, not immediate strength. And as for electrification, it’s unclear when the battery pack or electric motor will make its way to the C10. Pagani vehemently denied reports from July 2022 that the company had abandoned EV research in favor of continuing with the V12 engine.

We’ll have more of Pagani’s third model when it makes its official debut on September 12. Be sure to check back for all the details about the twin-turbocharged Pagani C10 800-plus-hp.
