2023 Nissan Z Configurator Launched, Most Expensive Model Is $60,367

The configurator for the Nissan Z 2023 is now available online, and that means it’s time to build your ideal example of the latest generation of the sports coupe brand. Getting every accessory available on the Proto Spec trim brings the price to $60,367 after a destination cost of $1,025.

All 2023 Z examples use a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 that produces 400 horsepower (298 kilowatts) and 350 pound-feet (475 Newton-meters) of torque. The power plant rotates to 6,800 rpm.

Compared to the entry-level Sport trim level, the Performance class gets a mechanical limited-slip differential, bigger brakes and 19-inch wheels. There are also leather seats, a 9.0-inch infotainment screen, and an eight-speaker stereo.

Proto Spec is technically the package of choice for Performance models. It comes with an Ikazuchi Yellow TriCoat and a two-tone Super Black body, yellow brake calipers, and bronze alloy wheels. Inside, the leather upholstery has yellow accents. Nissan is only offering 240 units of the Z Proto Spec in the US for the 2023 model year.

There are several accessories available for the Proto Spec if buyers want to personalize the sports coupe. The splash guard is $335, and the clear hood guard is $170. The dual stripes on the roof and rear deck are $595. Ground accent lighting is $395.

Inside, there are items such as a $400 bundle that incorporates a Z-brand carpeted floor mat, cargo net, first aid kit, and a portfolio of owner’s manuals. For $360, customers can add an integrated dashboard camera. The illuminated threshold plate is $500.

Nissan postponed the launch of the 2023 Z in the US due to supply chain issues. It went on sale this summer.
