Alpha CAMP Is A Cool Overlanding Setting That Doesn’t Exist

California-based EV company Alpha Motor Corporation is introducing a new collaborative overlanding and camping concept arrangement. Called the Collaborative Adventure Mobility Platform (CAMP), the concept features brands such as Rolling Stone Korea, Free & Easy, DMOS Collective Inc., Equipt Expedition Outfitters, Onyx Coffee Lab, KC Lights, and Black Rhino Wheels.

The vehicle to carry the CAMP site is based on the Alpha Rex – a pure electric SUV that was introduced back in May. Heavily modified to complement the outdoor driving experience, the Adventure Series Rex SUV comes with tubular doors with Racing Red DSMO Delta Pro Shovel.

Meanwhile, the rear cabin of the Rex SUV has been removed and reinforced with a rigid triangular bed bar. There’s a large cargo basket on the roof that can store up to two Alubox 42L aluminum boxes by Equipt Expedition Outfitters, while the front features the Gravity LED PRO6 Light line.

The Adventure Series Rex is an off-road-ready SUV that measures 1720 millimeters (68 inches) high, 1900mm (78 inches) wide and 4828mm (190 inches) long, standing on BF Goodrich Mud Terrain KM3 tires wrapped in 17-inch tires. . Black Fuji Rhino Wheel.

Meanwhile, the CAMP setup has a teardrop trailer in tow, which has assembly on the outside that involves a set of grilles, a collapsible picnic table, and a yurt with textiles to match the awning on the roof. The yurt’s fabric walls are removable which opens the inner space to nature. Inside the spacious yurt is a luxurious California King Size platform bed.

Currently, the CAMP site is a dedicated one-off collaborative concept project and is available as a rendering. When asked if the company is building a physical one-off CAMP site for hands-on experience, a representative told us Alpha is planning one. However, the exact time has not been set until now.
