The Cadillac Lyriq Debut Edition 2023 is only available in two exterior colors: Stellar Black Metallic and Satin Steel Metallic. But Cadillac Society now know that a wider selection of exterior color offerings will be available once the vehicle launch goes well.
At the time of this writing, it’s not entirely clear what exterior color options could be offered on future Cadillac Lyriq units, but we’ve been tipped off about a few of them, thanks to spy shots of the latest prototype. For example, some of these prototypes are seen wearing white, which suggests that a Summit White and/or Crystal White Tricoat could be offered in the future. Another prototype spied on the street had the same white body, but the lift doors were painted red, similar to the Garnet Metallic offered on some Cadillac models today.
Considering the exterior colors offered on other Cadillac models can give us a decent idea of what colors can be offered for the Lyriq as well. Wave Metallic, Electric Blue, Blaze Orange Metallic, and Shadow Metallic can be added to the color options in Lyriq, to name a few.
In addition, the Cadillac Lyriq Debut Edition is also offered in only two different interior color combinations: Noir and Sky Cool Grey. We expect Cadillac to offer a large selection of interior colors as soon as the Lyriq launches.
The Cadillac Lyriq 2023 uses the all-new BEV3 platform and is equipped with rear-wheel drive and a 100.4 kWh Ultium lithium-ion battery pack and a single Ultium Drive motor mounted on the rear axle, offering a range of approximately 300 miles. As of this writing, that’s the only powertrain configuration available, but more options, including all-wheel-drive and more power, are expected in the future. Shipments of the all-new battery-electric crossover are expected to begin sometime this spring, with a starting price point of $59,990 for customers in the US.
