The 2022 Cadillac CT5-V has received a slight price increase.

MSRP for CT5-V remains the same. In contrast, the price increase applies to destination shipping costs, which rose from $1,195 to $1,395, adding just $200 to the overall price of the performance-oriented luxury sedan.

2022 Cadillac CT5-V Starting Price
Crop Rate Drive chain Powertrain 2022 MSRP + DFC
CT5-V RWD Twin-Turbo 3.0L V6 LGY $51,490
CT5-V AWD Twin-Turbo 3.0L V6 LGY $53.490

As a reminder, the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V gets its motivation from a turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine (production code LGY), which makes 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. The engine is connected to the marque’s luxury 10-speed automatic transmission, sending power through the two rear wheels as standard, or an optional all-wheel-drive system, available at a premium.

Introduced in 2020, the CT5-V is a mid-level performance-oriented sedan that sits between the regular CT5 models (Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport) and the CT5-V Blackwing. As such, it has a more powerful engine and more vibrant handling capabilities, while maintaining approachability. Beyond engine and suspension upgrades, the CT5-V features a custom mesh grille, the V-Series “racing Mondrian” logo, and an upgraded and sportier rear diffuser when compared to the “regular” CT5 units.

The Cadillac CT5-V is assembled at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan. Currently, vehicles are being built without certain features due to constraints stemming from the ongoing global shortage of microchips. These include a heated steering wheel, along with Super Cruise, the luxury marque’s semi-autonomous driver assistance technology. However, heated and ventilated seats have recently been reintroduced after a brief hiatus.
