Bentley had a great last year in terms of sales. With 14,659 vehicles delivered to customers, the British manufacturer saw a 31 percent increase in sales for 2020. The luxury brand from Crewe is looking to maintain momentum by introducing a new addition to its global lineup. The first teaser for this machine is now out, although it doesn’t give us much information.
The only image available shows what looks like a door panel with integrated door speakers consisting of 15 rhombus decorative elements. Stylish LED ambient lights illuminate the speakers and another LED element illuminates the area under the armrest. The images – combined with a brief description provided by Bentley – hint at what to expect from the new model.

The automaker said it would unveil the fifth model in its portfolio on May 10, which may or may not mean this is a new product. We’re leaning towards the second option as we haven’t seen any spy photos of the brand’s actual new product yet. What we saw in December last year, however, was the testing of the Bentayga test prototype in winter conditions.
Bentley explains the new model will offer an “added dimension of onboard health” which strongly suggests we’re talking about a luxury vehicle rather than a performance-oriented one. The new vehicle will sit “in luxurious comfort at the top” of the Bentley range. The test car from a spy shot a few months ago seems to fit this description, suggesting a longer wheelbase for the Bentayga. Apart from that, the Bentayga’s door panels almost perfectly match the teaser image with its rhombus pattern.
Of course, this is just an assumption and we cannot give any guarantee that this new model is really based on the Bentayga. Luckily, we won’t have to wait too long to find out as the official and full debut is slated to take place in less than two weeks. Stay here!
