New Bentley Model Will Feature “Most Advanced Seat Ever” In A Car

[ad_1]

Bentley will add a new model to its lineup next week. The luxury automaker teased it for the first time late last month, and the Bentley is back with another preview. This one shows off a bit more of what’s to come, revealing a pair of plush chairs and luxurious purple door panels.

Bentley boasts that the new vehicle will feature 24 billion possible trim specification configurations alone. The new vehicle will also get the company’s new Airline Seat, which not only offers 22-way adjustment but also “advanced postural adjustment technology.” This technology comes with 177 individual pressure changes across six zones. It will also feature a new automatic climate sensing system, but Bentley did not elaborate on its function.

The new teaser image also reveals more of Bentley’s Diamond Illumination, which features lights emitted through tiny, one-millimeter-diameter holes in the door trim. Bentley used 12 LEDs for the front doors and 22 LEDs for the rear, reimagining the company’s Diamond Quilting style. Bentley’s first teaser showed off the brand’s luminous diamond pattern, but didn’t reveal much else.

We don’t know what model Bentley is working on, but it looks like it will take the brand’s luxury features to a new level. Interior tweaks and finishes and endless customization are the hallmark of the Bentley brand, and the new models will continue that tradition.

Bentley says that this will be the fifth model to be launched. However, we haven’t seen a new test vehicle yet. The last Bentley we caught was a cold-weather testing Bentayga prototype, and there are some similarities between the door panels in the teaser and the SUV. Whatever the new model, it looks like it will be luxurious and will sit at the top of Bentley’s lineup when it debuts.

We don’t know what Bentley will reveal, but we won’t have to wait long. The automaker will unveil its new model on May 10. The latest additions will only help Bentley grow when the brand hits record sales in 2021, generating 14,659 vehicles.
