GM has reached a significant production milestone at its Fort Wayne Assembly plant, where the black 2026 Chevy Silverado 1500 High Country was recently rolled out as the 11 millionth vehicle at the facility. This milestone comes just about a month after the Flint plant produced its 16 millionth vehicle, the Chevy Silverado 2500HD.

Milestone trucks are not delivered to dealers or fleets. Instead, the car was purchased by General Motors employee Ken Zawisa, who attended a small celebration on site with his father and factory workers. “It’s very exciting to know that my truck is the 11 millionth vehicle. I’ve probably told 100 people that this is a historic vehicle,” said Zawisa. Waynedale News. “I’m proud as a GM employee that we’ve built this many great trucks. The employees at Fort Wayne Assembly every day build something that matters to so many customers.”
