2026 GMC Hummer EV SUV Gets Coastal Dune Paint: First Look

The GMC Hummer EV SUV was first unveiled for the 2024 model year, with the new 2026 Hummer EV SUV debuting a series of updates and changes. Chief among these is the new Carbon Fiber Edition, while the 2026 Hummer EV also introduces new safety features and new customization opportunities. To that end, the 2026 GMC Hummer EV is offered in a new exterior paint option dubbed Coastal Dune, and now, GM Authority is taking a closer look.

The Coastal Dune is color coded G42 and touch-up paint number WA-234L, and can be had on the Hummer EV SUV 2X and Hummer EV SUV 3X trim levels. The price for this particular color is set at $625, which is roughly equivalent to the price of a Hummer EV paint upgrade. It’s also worth mentioning that Coastal Dune indirectly replaces Tide Metallic (paint code G7X), a paint option originally offered for the Hummer EV SUV alongside the model’s debut for the 2024 model year.

Coastal Dune can be selected alongside two interior color options for the Hummer EV SUV – Granite Drift and Stealth Eclipse. Meanwhile, Hummer also offers the Velocity Ember, but this particular color is only available with the Carbon Fiber Edition Package (code RPO WFP). For your information, the Carbon Fiber Edition is painted exclusively with Magnus Gray Matte paint (paint code GBL). As a reminder, the GMC Hummer EV SUV uses the GM BT1 platform focused on electric vehicles, while production takes place at the GM Factory Zero plant in Michigan.
