  • Lamborghini plans to launch a Miura tribute based on the Revuelto.
  • The car will debut at Pebble Beach this August.
  • Rumors say Lamborghini will limit production to just 60 units.

Lamborghini will launch at least two new vehicles this year. We don’t expect the automaker to expand its lineup beyond the current trio, which means we’ll likely see some special edition models, one of which could be an homage to the Miura.

According to Supercar BlogLamborghini will introduce this new model at Pebble Beach in August. The publication did not cite its sources, but reported that the automaker will base the Miura on the Revuelto and that it will be like the Aventador Miura Edition.

The new Miura Tribute could feature two-tone paint, like the Aventador version, and other exterior upgrades. Inside, Lamborghini will likely add some retro touches.

If the new special edition Miraui is anything like the previous version, it will most likely feature the same powertrain as the Revuelto without any modifications. The hypercar is equipped with a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 hybrid engine, with three electric motors, producing a combined 1,001 horsepower.

Motorcycle Pickup1: Lamborghini sales are doing well with three models, so the automaker doesn’t need to expand its lineup. Instead, they’re focusing on high-priced, limited-run models that enthusiasts will flock to, and this new Miura is just the latest.
