It had only been a few months since we first saw him Forza Horizon 6. It will be released on May 19, and the developer has released a first look at actual gameplay footage to get fans’ attention (scroll down to see it for yourself).
This six-minute video is a prologue to the game, showing what players can expect. It opens with the player driving the 2024 Nissan GT-R Nismo through a canopy of cherry blossoms, then into the countryside. The road winds past quiet homes and picturesque fields before stopping next to a bullet train.
Players then move on to driving the trophy truck, the No. 4 Polaris RZR Pro 4. RJ Anderson’s No. 37, down a snowy mountainside, dodging trees and other racers. The prologue then highlights the Touge roads available in the game, which you will experience in a 1995 Porsche 911 GT2.
The prologue ends with the player driving the 2025 GR GT Prototype, which is on the game’s cover. The video captures some of the environments the game will offer, including a rocket launch pad.
The game’s official X account also posted a photo of the full map in its summer release. There is a large city on the south side, Tokyo City, and snow-capped mountains to the north.
Between the two there are at least two airports, several small towns, beaches, lots of great highways, and plenty of places to explore. There are roads inspired by the C1 loop, which surround Tokyo’s three central districts, Gingko Avenue, and more. We can’t wait to explore.
