- Ferrari teases its new Luce EV in video for the first time.
- The video shows a glimpse of the front of the car.
- The Ferrari Luce debuts next month.
Just a flash of light is enough to show, even if only for a few frames, the Ferrari Luce. Like it or not, Maranello’s first EV is already one of the most anticipated cars of 2026. And even a glimpse of the video gives a hint of what the final version will be like.
The teaser Ferrari released earlier this week shows almost nothing: just a shadowy silhouette, with the headlights stealing the show during nighttime runs. But there are still many things to be excited about.
What Does Luce Really Look Like?
That’s the million dollar question—and no one knows the answer yet.
The Ferrari Luce is expected to be a crossover, slightly smaller than the 196.9-inch Purosangue, though still far from small. The 116.5-inch wheelbase should provide enough space for four passengers. Drivers will face a completely redesigned dashboard by Jony Ive, the former Apple designer behind the first iPhone and iPad.
Distinctive lines and bodywork are expected to differentiate it—not just from Ferrari’s first SUV (sorry, FUV)—but from the rest of the lineup as a whole. This is a big debut for the brand, so the bold choice makes sense.

Improved screenshots of the teaser show that the roof is flat enough to preserve headroom, while the rear window may be slightly angled to a coupe-like profile. The hood looks very long—especially without the engine underneath—and extends downwards reminiscent of the Purosangue, giving the front a sportier and more aggressive look.
Built on a fully internal platform, Luce will use structural batteries to reduce weight and bulk. It’s estimated to go more than 310 miles on a single charge—assuming you’re not constantly pumping out around 1,000 horsepower from four electric motors (two per axle). The motor is said to be able to propel the new Ferrari from 0–62 mph in just 2.5 seconds.
Motorcycle Pickup1: While the video doesn’t give much to work with, we’re curious to see what the new Ferrari Luce will look like when it debuts in just a few months.
