The Engine Oil In This Swamped Ford Bronco Looks Like Chocolate Milk

In a recent TikTok by @mach1cody, we saw questionable engine oil from a flooded Ford Bronco. This 6th generation Bronco has seen better days as videos show that it clearly experienced extreme water immersion events. So what does a Bronco look like after you soak it in muddy water?

Details about what actually happened to this Ford Bronco are scarce, but based on video footage and comments found on the Bronco6g.com forums, it’s clear that this Bronco was the victim of an extreme water event. A TikTok video showing oil drained from a Bronco engine clearly something is wrong with it. The oil looks more like chocolate milk than regular used oil. This eye-catching appearance is the result of water intrusion into the Bronco engine lubrication system damaging this critical lubrication system.

The Bronco featured in the video has been stripped of its body, leaving only the muddy frame and drivetrain components behind. The engine bay is also less frequent than usual as the radiator and other supporting components are also missing.

We’re not sure what happened to this Ford Bronco, but it’s very clear that an extreme water event was the cause of this Bronco’s downfall. The new edition Ford Bronco Everglades can wade through 36.4 inches of water as the most proficient Bronco in the aquatic field. The regular Ford Bronco can wade through 33.5 inches of water, which makes the Bronco a very water-capable machine in all trims.

It’s no secret that Ford Broncos lead a tough life. Take for example the recent crash at Moab when Bronco owners accidentally toppled their Bronco while trying to cross a steep obstacle course.

This flooded Ford Bronco may never be able to be driven again due to severe water damage. Based on the condition of the oil there is also a possibility of engine damage which will only add to the repair bill for this cloudy engine.
