2023 Audi RS Q3 Edition 10 Years of Debut With Black Trim Galore

Hard to believe, but the Audi RS Q3 has been around for 10 years. The turbocharged crossover appeared in 2013, and in honor of a decade of family travel around the city, Audi added all kinds of darkness to the aura of the RS Q3.

That speaks luxury for what is essentially a black appearance package, thus creating the 2023 Audi RS Q3 10 Year Edition. On the outside, the special model gets 21-inch black double-spoke wheels, wrapped in 225/35 series tires. There’s more black for the door and window trim, the side mirrors, diffuser inserts, slats on the front spoiler, and the Audi logo are also finished in glossy black. The LED headlights are slightly darkened, and all of them contrast with the two exterior color options – Dew Silver or Chronos Gray metallic, the latter of which is exclusive to the 10 Years Edition.

Inside, Audi is giving a special model an exclusive RS bucket seat with matte carbon seat back covers. Darker with black-Dinamica leather combination for the surface of the seats and the instrument panel. Copper contrast stitching offers a visual break from monotonous interiors, as does the RS Q3 branding on the floor mats. The look of the RS Q3 reminds passengers that this is a limited production trim level, with a total of only 555 planned.

Under the skin, everything remains the same and that’s not a bad thing. The reinforced 2.5-liter inline-five engine produces 395 horsepower (294 kilowatts), sent to all four wheels via a seven-speed S tronic gearbox. Carbon ceramic brakes are an optional upgrade, with standard gray brake calipers and red or blue calipers available. Under full speed, the RS Q3 can hit 60 mph in 4.5 seconds and is limited to a top speed of 155 mph. However, Audi can flash that limiter if you so desire, allowing the crossover to hit a top speed of 174 mph.

The Audi RS Q3 Edition 10 Year 2023 will be available to order in Germany at the end of October. This is an additional €5,990 to the base price, and while the 555 will be made for the global market, that doesn’t include North America.
