Skoda Kamiq Facelift Spying Test While Towing Trailer

The Skoda Kamiq debuted in 2019 as the brand’s compact crossover. Now, it’s time for the model to get a refresh. This spy shot captures the updated vehicle while towing a small trailer.

Compared to the current Kamiq, the updated version has a few design changes. The underside of the revised lower fascia now has three openings instead of the current two slots. Above it, the larger inlet gets a small scratch on the outer edge. The main grille and split headlights have had no noticeable changes.

Like most vehicle refreshes, Skoda leaves the styling profile alone.

Skoda camouflage hides a lot in the back. The taillights have a new design for their headlights. In addition, the bumper seems to have a revised sculpture.

There are no photos of Kamiq’s cabin. We don’t expect big changes there. The current model is available with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 9.2-inch infotainment screen. This small crossover offers 14.1 cubic feet (400 liters) of cargo space with the rear seats up or 49.2 cubic feet (1,395 liters) with the seats down.

The updated Kamiq reportedly has no significant modifications to the engine lineup. Current options include manufacturers such as the 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder, the 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, and the 1.6-liter turbodiesel.

We don’t know when the updated Kamiq will debut. This is the second time we’ve seen spy shots this year.

Following the launch of the standard Kamiq, Skoda added a more luxurious Monte Carlo trim. The changes include full-LED headlights and taillights, a panoramic sunroof, height-adjustable sports seats, and red stitching in the cabin. It comes standard with 17-inch wheels with an option for an 18-inch design.

Then, the company added a rugged-looking Scoutline. It has no mechanical adjustment. Revised styling includes black wheel arches and silver accents for the exterior. Inside, there’s a ThermoFlux fabric upholstery.
