Porsche 911 GTS Hybrid Spied Looks Sporty

This new photo gallery gives a look at the upcoming Porsche 911 Hybrid in a sporty GTS trim, according to our spies. Compared to the images of the latest electrified models, this one wears more camouflage on the front fascia and rear end.

At the front, Porsche has paired this car with a fairly aggressive fascia. There is a wide inlet on each side with three horizontal bars and a vertical bar behind it. Small fog lights are attached to the outside of each side. The black band covers the nose, indicating at least some of this element is just a substitute.

Along the sides, this 911 uses center-lock wheels with a mismatched design. The cut in front has five pairs of spokes. On the back, they have 10 spokes.

Through the window, you can see that the driver is in the race seat, and there is a roll cage. Don’t expect the production version to have this component. It is not clear whether this car has a rear seat. They were absent from previous development vehicles.

At the rear, this 911 has a very hidden bumper. There is a small opening at the bottom of each side. The reflector protrudes from the angular protrusion. It’s hard to see, but there are two exhaust outlets near the center. One of them has a metallic finish, and the other is black.

There are only a few details about the 911 Hybrid’s powertrain such as there are motorsport-derived components. This is not a plug-in system. Based on previous statements, the company plans to tune the electric assist for power, not efficiency. If this version is anything like the existing 911 GTS, then the Hybrid GTS will have slightly more output than the standard version.

The 911 Hybrid will debut soon, according to Porsche Italia CEO Pietro Innocenti speaking to Motor1.com Italia. Although, the executive did not offer a specific date for its opening. Sales could begin as soon as 2023 as part of Porsche’s updated 911 model range.
