Super Cruise Currently Unavailable For 2023 Cadillac Escalade

An increase in the number of features is limited from the Cadillac Escalade 2023, and the Super Cruise is the latest technology released from the full-size luxury SUV, Cadillac Society has learned.

According to sources familiar with the matter, the Super Cruise (production code UKL) has been absent from the new Cadillac Escalade 2023 unit since it went into production on July 18.th. Expected to return to full-size luxury SUV on October 3rdrd production. At this time, it is unclear whether units assembled without the technology will be able to be reassembled in the future.

As a reminder, the Super Cruise is a luxury semi-autonomous driver assistance system that allows hands-free travel on certain stretches of North American highways. When available, the Super Cruise adds $2,500 to the cost of the Escalade, and is offered in Premium Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury Platinum and Sport Platinum trim levels, along with the Escalade-V. It is not offered at all on the base Luxury trim.

Apart from the Super Cruise, the Heavy Duty Trailer Package is currently not available on the new Cadillac Escalade 2023 unit, along with four-way power lumbar seat adjustment. That’s not enough, the Adaptive Beam Headlamps are also currently experiencing problems after being introduced to the Escalade for the 2023 model year. It should also be noted that the Super Cruise is also currently limited from the Cadillac XT6 2023.

As a reminder, the Cadillac Escalade 2023 continues to use the same body-on-frame T1 vehicle platform as the 2021 and 2022 models and is offered with two engine options for the “regular” model. The first is a naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 petrol engine (production code L87), which makes 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. This engine is standard on the Escalade, and models with this bike wear the 600 badge on the elevator doors. Meanwhile, a 3.0L I6 turbodiesel engine (production code LM2) is optional. It’s rated at 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque; models with this engine sport the 600D badge on the back. Both engines are mated to a Cadillac 10-speed automatic transmission.

Joining the Escalade lineup for the 2023 model year is the all-new high-performance Cadillac Escalade-V, featuring a supercharged 6.2L V8 engine (production code LT4) tuned to produce 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet of torque. making it the most powerful Cadillac ever made.
