Cute Dog Stars In Ad For Adorable Toyota Sienta Minivan

The latest version of the Toyota Sienta was recently launched in Japan as a small minivan that can seat up to seven people and features an adorable exterior style. The automaker now has an ad featuring a cute dog like the vehicle in the ad.

The little puppy in the ad has bushy ears and a gray body with a white muzzle. In the ad, she runs and turns into a green Sienta. The whole family then piles up inside.

Next, we see the dog running down the street and turning into the minivan again. This time, the family loaded the vehicle with gardening accessories.

This dog didn’t just turn into Sienta. The next scene shows a puppy enjoying a picnic with the family. The dog was even kind enough to pick up a plastic water bottle instead of leaving it as trash.

At the end of the commercial, a pug pulls on the leash to see our gray friend. Instead of seeing another dog, the star of the commercial turned into Sienta.

The new Sienta uses the TNGA-B platform, which is also under the newest Yaris. The entry-level powerplant is a 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine that produces 90 horsepower (67 kilowatts) and 89 pound-feet (120 Newton-meters) of torque. A hybrid version from this factory has 118 hp (88 kW) and 107 lb-ft (145 Nm). Front and all wheel drive configurations available.

Compared to the previous Sienta, the new one is the same length and width, but the roof is higher so that adults can fit more comfortably. Customers can choose a five or seven seat layout. In models with a third row, the second row can be shifted forward to make it easier for passengers to enter the back.

Price for Sienta starting at 1.95 million ($13,500 at current exchange rates) for the entry-level X trim with front-wheel drive and five seats. The most expensive class is the all-wheel drive and seven-seater Hybrid Z for 3.108 million ($21,530). There’s no sign of this little van coming to the United States.
