Civic Faces Hellcat, Camaro Vs Street Rod And More In Odd Drag Race

For the record, the video above shows modified racing stock cars or near-stock vehicles. This is not an apples-to-apples performance comparison. This is not meant to endorse or ridicule any brand or model. And we both like people who love cars and those who just enjoy traveling. In other words, these are just cool drag racing videos that we watched, enjoyed and decided to share. We hope you enjoy it in a carefree way too.

We offer a disclaimer because brand loyalty can run deep. Also, it’s not every day that we see a Honda Civic drag racing with a Hellcat V8 engine and putting up a good fight. It’s the first race in the compilation clip, and it’s the best fight of all. We won’t spoil the results, but we will say that the second Civic appears to hurt the Charger Hellcat with biblical traction issues.

This clip isn’t just a Civic-versus-Hellcat fight. The old, outdated diesel-powered Dodge Ram almost got the best of the Mustang Shelby GT350, but the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 didn’t quite match up to the old street trunks. And then came the lost Ford Festival all body panels on the front clip. It’s a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat race. Or rather, he tried.

That’s just the midpoint in this mismatched machine zoo. A Ford diesel pickup tries to eliminate another Challenger Hellcat. The Tesla Model 3 is up against the rare AWD fourth-generation Civic. And we were treated to an old Chevy Nova driving a Corvette C8, where both cars performed the same. But one driver clearly has more experience on the track.

So, sit back, relax and enjoy the eccentric drag racing action. If you want to inject good-natured trash talk in the comments, do so. Just remember – the less seriously you take it, the more fun it will be.
