Honda is celebrating 30 years of the Type R badge, which first appeared in 1992 with the NSX Type R. Along with the celebrations, the Japanese manufacturer has fully revealed the next-generation Civic Type R, or at least in design inside and out. .

The video shows a first-person view of the car driving past the FIA pavement, then an animated representation of the Type R badge. with the overall simple style of the new red-badged Civic, we think.
Given the nature of the language used by the video’s original poster, we’re assuming that the startup animation comes from the Civic Type R for Japan. It is not yet known whether the US-spec Civic Type R will get the same graphics after pressing the push-start button.
As mentioned, there are a few things we don’t know about the Civic Type R FL5. Honda has not shared exact figures for the front-wheel-drive sports car. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine of the outgoing Type R is retained in the new model, mated to a revised six-speed manual transmission. However, the company says it is the fastest and most powerful Honda-branded vehicle it has ever offered to US buyers.
