We’re very close to seeing the Cadillac Celestiq Show Car fully revealed. The veil was lifted on July 22, less than 24 hours since this post went live. And there’s one last teaser to keep us interested before things get official, shared on Cadillac’s social media channels.
Admittedly, we have a bit of an egg on our digital face here. Cadillac released a teaser on July 12 that we think will be its last, offering detailed photos of the interior and exterior features. In our defense, this new video teaser feels less official, taking us around the sleek sedan while showing us areas we’d normally see before. The lighting elements are the focus this time around, starting with the illuminated Cadillac emblem on the grille. The underside of the grille also lights up, and we see glowing side markers on the fenders.
From there, the camera moves inside for a glimpse of the Celestiq’s full-length digital dashboard and four-seat interior. This is not a small vehicle; Cadillac takes cues from high-end luxury brands like Rolls-Royce with plush rear seats separated by a large center console. Behind it is a large cargo area accessible via the rear liftback. That’s where this teaser video ends, showing another Cadillac emblem illuminated with horizontal and vertical taillight elements visible in the dark.

It’s worth reminding everyone that Cadillac billed Celestiq as show car, better known as a concept. As such, there will likely be some changes to the production version. Among other things, the flimsy seats look as though they could use a little more cushioning. However, in terms of design, we don’t expect much to change. In that case, the Celestiq definitely has to stand out in the crowd with its long, wide, and fastback shape. And as a refresher, the vehicle is fully electric using GM’s Ultium platform. And if the rumors about the potential price were true, it would be very expensive. We’ve heard that it could sell for around $300,000.
That definitely puts Cadillac into the ultra-luxury elite realm. It’s a position the storied automaker once held decades ago. With the world turning to electric power, it might be time for Cadillac to try and reclaim that edge with a low-production halo car. That’s exactly what Celestiq is, and we’ll be learning all about it in just a few hours from now.
