2023 Corvette Z06 At Indy 500 Sounds Insane In Fly-By, Ride-Along Video

[ad_1]

The 106th run of the Indianapolis 500 will take place in a few hours and as we all know, the Chevy Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary Edition 2023 is the official race car. If you’re among those who will be attending a sporting event, congratulations, you’ll get the chance to see and hear the new Z06 through its paces at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

But if you’re at home reading this story right now, Well Byron Glover Jr. (Drive 615 on YouTube) and Chevrolet gifted us a video of a Corvette Z06 ruffling the speedway.

Before you watch the video embedded in this story, you might want to get the best set of headphones for a better viewing experience.

In the Glover ride-along segment, you can see the excitement because this is the first time a YouTuber has sat inside a Z06, even in the passenger seat. That said, you can hear the V8’s flat-crank plane’s devilish exhaust tone from where it’s at and we can only imagine how crazy that would be in real life.

At one point on the way, you can see the Corvette Z06 hitting 163 miles per hour (262 kilometers per hour). It sounds absolutely insane – as crazy as the fly-by segments in both videos.

As a racecar dressed up as the 70th Anniversary Edition of the Corvette Z06, it comes with the Z07 Performance Package and wears a Tri-Coat White Pearl Metallic. It also features a set of wheels with red rims and an anniversary center cap, paired with red brake calipers.

The 2022 Indianapolis 500 takes place today, May 29, 2022, at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The race will start in a few hours.
